Handmade from soft and durable Italian vegetable-tanned leather. The classical-look collars are shaped to be wider to support a puppy's delicate neck. Which is kinder and safer as it minimizes the risk of slipping out of its collar. Made by my own hand stitches, used solid buckles and rings.

A personalized option using hot stamping letters is available (Latin alphabet, 10 characters limit).

How do I know what size dog collar I need?

Loosely measure the neck where the collar would normally sit sliding two fingers between the dog's neck and measuring tape. Adding the two fingers should make the collar size about 2" larger than the dog's neck size (maybe closer to 1" on tiny dogs.)
Leave a sizing note (circumference) and the dog's breed with your order.

  • Vegetable-tanned belting leather is durable and high-quality leather that can last for years if cared for properly. Here are some care instructions to keep your vegetable-tanned belting leather in good condition:

    • Clean your leather regularly. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away any dirt or dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals or cleaners that can damage the leather.

    • Condition the leather. Use a leather conditioner specifically designed for vegetable-tanned leather. Apply a small amount to a clean, dry cloth and rub it into the leather in a circular motion. Allow the leather to absorb the conditioner and wipe away any excess with a clean cloth.

    • Handle the leather with care. Avoid scratching or scuffing the leather and handle it gently to prevent damage.

    • Periodically treat with mink oil. Apply mink oil to the leather using a clean, dry cloth. Rub it into the leather in a circular motion and allow it to absorb for a few hours before wiping off any excess with a clean cloth. This will help to maintain the leather's suppleness and water resistance.

By following these care instructions, you can help to ensure that your vegetable-tanned belting leather stays looking great for years to come.
